Hi Steve,
I have gone to as many concerts by you as possible at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, AR. The first thing I noticed about you was walking by George’s one night and hearing this wonderful guitar sound coming from the venue as you rehearsed. I bought tickets and was knocked out by the tone you get from your guitar and amp. I know that you often use old Fender Bandmasters. I am in the market to get a new amplifier and I wonder if you have any thoughts on how I can best approximate your tone. I currently have a Fender Blues Jr.. I am contemplating Suhr amps. They seem to be very well designed and made. The Bella seems expensive, but I could do it. What do you think? I would like to get a head and make my own speaker cabinet using 8 inch Jupiter speakers. Any ideas would be appreciated.
